Description

The Case Club Springfield M1A Rifle Case is built to provide rugged protection and a custom fit for the Springfield M1A, including variants such as the Scout Squad and Loaded models. Designed with a hard-sided, crush-resistant exterior and high-density closed-cell polyethylene foam interior, this case ensures the rifle and accessories are securely held in place during transport or storage.

Each M1A component is precisely supported by custom-cut foam cavities, allowing the rifle to rest securely with or without an optic or scope attached. The case includes additional compartments for two 10-round magazines, a full-size semi-automatic pistol, and up to two pistol magazines. A general accessory cavity offers extra room for tools or gear, and a reusable silica gel canister (included) helps maintain a moisture-controlled interior to protect metal components from rust.

Engineered for long-term durability and field readiness, this case is dustproof, waterproof, and features reinforced padlock holes for added security. It is equipped with an automatic pressure relief valve, wheels for easier transport, structural ribs for strength, and durable wide-bodied latches that are easy to operate—even with gloves.

Firearms with oversized optics, extended controls, or other non-standard modifications may not fit properly. It looks like the magazine capacity was increased when the case was upgraded to a Gen-2, but as you suspected the description was not updated. *The image is correct and we have updated the product description to compliment it.
  2. Q Will this case also accept a Beretta BM59 with or without a folding stock? answer now

    Although the Beretta BM59 remains untested in this case, it does look like it would fit the non-collapsible stock version. At this time we cannot recommend the folding stock version as the foam is definitely not setup for that. However if you were to purchase this case (for the non-folding stock variant) you could expect the foam to fit the majority of the rifle out of the box. Be advised you would need to be prepared to make minor foam cuts (with the included razor knife) to ensure a perfect fit in the event not all the existing cuts lined up such as the front sight or sling clip. Assuming you were alright with making those types of modifications (which should be minor), then this case would work for your Beretta BM59.

    This case will come with the foam already pre-cut to fit different variations of the M1A including the M1 Garand. 99% of the cuts have already been professionally made, but you will likely have to connect a few of the perforations for the last 1%. This case does come with a razor blade to make those perforations and most people find those final manual cuts to be very simple. You can expect your M1 Garand to fit snugly within the cutouts as shown below. The image is not perfectly to scale, but should give you an idea of what to expect. As you can see there is additional room both above and below the rifle if you need to adjust for optics or accessories.

    Answering your questions more directly: If you wanted to avoid any manual cuts on your end, we can always custom cut the foam for your exact rifle, but the cost is rather expensive when compared to this off-the-shelf product. So yes, you could order this case with custom foam that fits the Original M1 Garand without you needing to modify it, but it will cost more money. (Generally over double the cost).
