Description

The Standard Polyethylene Foam 54″ x 16″ insert is a precision-cut  foam block.  This foam provides an ideal solution for users looking to upgrade, modify, or replace the original insert in their case to securely store a specific item or set of items.

Constructed from closed-cell polyethylene, this foam is dense enough to support and protect sensitive equipment while still allowing for clean cutting and customization. The material is resistant to water, oils, solvents, and general wear, making it a durable and long-lasting option for various industries, including electronics, tools, photography, medical devices, and more. Its shock-absorbing properties help cushion gear from impacts, vibration, and shifting during transport or use.

This foam insert is intended for customers who need to fabricate their own protective layout or replace a worn insert. The material can be cut to shape using standard tools or equipment to create a custom fit for the gear being protected.

This product fits cases with an 54 inch by 16 inch foam interior cavity. Using this insert in cases with differing dimensions may lead to poor fit or performance.

Customer Questions

  1. Q Can I get it larger than 54” x 16” ? Looking for 54” x 36”? answer now

Although we have the capability of cutting a foam sheet to be 54"x36", the foam becomes too large to ship UPS or FedEx. The foam would need to ship LTL freight which is very expensive for a single sheet. Unless you were local to Anaheim, CA and could pickup the sheet in person, you would need to purchase a full pallet of foam sheets to warrant the higher freight cost.

  2. Answered by the admin

The foam is precut and ready to ship from one of our fulfillment centers. Orders generally ship in 1-2 days from whichever fulfillment center is located closest to you.

  3. Answered by the admin

Yes, you can. Please purchase the Case Club CC720SE Case & choose the foam interior option: "With PE Flat Foam". That will be the same case with the same type of foam as our 6 Pistol Case, but without any cutouts. If you are inquiring about our wheeled 6 Pistol & Accessory Case, then refer to the Case Club CC201173ISK Case instead.
