The inner case dimensions are 9.60″ x 7.42″ x 4″, perfect for most handguns. Layers of convoluted polyurethane foam secure the firearm within the case, and the case itself is guaranteed for life against breakage & defects so you know your pistol will be safe for years and even decades to come.   1. Answered by the admin The foam will fill the base of the case to the edge. The product comes with 2 layers of convoluted foam in the base and 1 in the lid. The main product image shows the case with 1 layer in the base already removed. Therefore if you have a thinner firearm you would be able to leave the top layer in place for a tighter fit.
