The universal rifle cases including this one do not include a dehumidifying silica gel canister.

The convoluted foam option is an open cell "eggcrate" like material in the lid and base. With this option your gun should "squish" in the foam. (No foam cutting needed).

This option is best suited if you have different guns you would like to transport in the same case at different times.

The PE Flat foam is closed cell polyethylene (with the convolute in the lid) and you will have to cutout the shape of your gun for a proper fit.

This option is best suited if you have a single firearm you need to transport in the case and are willing to cut the foam yourself.

The interior dimensions of our Midsize Universal rifle case is 43.00" long so your rifle will fit. Be advised there will only be 1/4" of extra space on each end. Under most circumstances we would recommend more space as 1/4" is barely any room.
