  1. Q How does the insert cutting happen? Do you DIY after receiving the case? Or is there a process by... answer now

    Cutting can be done either by the customer or by Case Club. Customers often purchase the case full of the correctly sized foam layers & plastic so they can do it themselves with a razor blade. Alternatively we can cut the foam in house with our CNC machine, but of course the cost is more since there is more engineering involved. Generally for a foam insert similar to this, the customer will send us their parts. With so many tools it is difficult for the customer to cut it by hand and too time consuming to create a drawing. It usually makes the most sense to find a 2-3 week time span when your gear is not in use and then send it to us so we can create perfect cutouts.

    Yes, this case is made up of 3 different levels. Two of the "trays" are removable and the level at the bottom is permanent. It also does have plastic built into the removable trays. For this project we used 3/32" plastic to add tray rigidity, but we also stock 1/4" for larger/heavier tray requirements.
