Customer Questions

  1. Answered by the admin No, this foam will not disintegrate over time. Older foams had the tendency to disintegrate as you describe however modern foams have been reformulated to use less petroleum and therefore will not become sticky as you may have experienced.
  2. Answered by the admin

The foam dryness is normal. This foam is open cell so if it came into contact with water or oil, it would quickly absorb it. That trapped water could then mold because the case is watertight and would keep the liquid sealed in. Therefore it is very important to ensure the foam remains dry for product longevity. If for whatever reason the foam gets wet you would actually want to air dry it until fully dry. Other than that there is no additional maintenance program needed to keep the foam in good shape.
